Eons…MySpace for the older crowd

My parents are pretty close to 50 if they aren’t there yet, and I don’t see them getting into this, but maybe it’s for some people.  From the sounds of it it sounds like it’s for Grandparents and their friends, but I guess if you can get the 50 year olds you have them hooked in for longer.

Eons, has just launched today and it is a social network for people who are 50 plus.  You can share photos leave messages, join groups, etc.  They also have a nifty feature called "Obit alerts"  First off, I don’t know how those will work, but for those of you wondering what they are, they are Obituary alerts, letting you know when one of your friends or people in your community has died.  I don’t know how sensitive that is, but it keeps you informed.
