Red Nano’s tomorrow

Tomorrow, on Oprah, Bono and Oprah will unveil a new iPod nano. A special red edition which will donate $10 to an AIDS charity, call product red. The two of them were in a Chicago Apple store earlier today taking photos and filming a segment on the special edition iPods, and the Apple Mecca store in NY has changed it’s apple to be red, rather than white.

My prediction is that these things will be HOT. Being on Oprah, being only $199, being new, being different, being a way to “show that you care,” these things are going to be the livestrong braclets of Bellevue and other housewife hotbeds. I think they’ll be popular on college campuses, around town, but I think the ladies who watch Oprah are going to swoop these up very quick. Mom, you find one for yourself yet?
