Tangerine for Mac

Most of you (probably all) will not find this interesting in the least, but it’s a very cool program I just came across.  This program, Tangerine, will scan your iTunes library for the Beats Per Minute (BOM) and the Intensity of the beats.  From there it will create a playlist for you based on what BPM and Intensity you want.  It’s perfect for creating a playlist for a party and giving your music a good flow.  I’ve been using this since I got home today and I think it is VERY cool.  Helps the inner DJ in me, the one that can’t get out because those turntables are so tough to work.

They also will give me a free license if I blog about them.  Do they realize how much traffic I get?

Look who is taking care of commuters

CleverSet! I wonder if I had something to do with this. Maybe, I do get a free bus pass and I LOVE it. It saves me between $2.50 and $14.00 a day. Bus fare vs parking in the summer. I don’t always take the bus, but more times than not I am on there. Thanks to the company for hooking us up with free bus passes.

I wonder if the fact that people who work at CleverSet can walk to LocalBoyz for lunch and dinner played a factor in the rankings?

OJ’s Fiction Book on how he killed his wife

Yes, O.J. Simpson is writing a "Fiction" book called "If I Did It."  It will be a book about himself killing his ex-wife and Ron Goldman.  Now I’m no expert here, but is this even possible.  The most famous celebrity to go on trial for a double murder is writing a book, in the first person, about killing the people he was charged with killing.

I wish I could come up with something funny to say outside of what I read already, but I’m just so shocked by this.  Yet, isn’t this kind of like convicting yourself?  Ohh yea, just in case any of you were worried that OJ’s not getting by these days as he has to pay Ron Goldman’s parents alot of money for being found guilty of murder (or something like that) in the civil suit, OJ will be making $3.5 million for this story.

Don’t say those words AdSense

AdSense is currently recommending to me some tickets and other items related to the team south of Corvallis.  I don’t say their name on here, but it is picking up on the Oregon connection.  I hope AdSense can get the hint and start recommending more Oregon State items rather than those other guys.  Man, I would be clicking on these ads a ton if I hadn’t said I will not click on my own ads.  Feel free to look at the ads esspecially if they’re for the good guys, Oregon State.

$75 to do something I don’t like for 2 hours?

So I am planning on running the Seattle Half Marathon in a few weeks, but I’m not sure I like the pricing structure they have.  Umm, I can spend $75 doing something I really like (going to a NFL game, buying multiple seasons of Entourage, or driving to work rather than taking the bus).  Rather than any of those ideas I can pay $75 to do something I don’t really enjoy doing for two hours.

Yes, I want to run it.  Yes, I would like to accomplish this.  Yes, I understand having a fee to run.  Yes, I am thinking of not paying and just entering at mile 0.5 and exiting at mile 12.6.  My friend Todd is down, and I’m thinking my friend Mikki might be as well.  They can’t stop you from running can they?
