Glad I got out when I did…

Yes, of Canada.  Today is a day that when I went to school in Canada I never imagined would happen.  The USD (US Dollar) and the CDN (Canadian Dollar) are now even.  So much for taking cheap trips to Whistler, so much for going to school in Canada for the exchange rate, so much for equaling out the price of beer due to what it could cost back in the states.

Yes, when I went to school in Canada the exchange rate started at about $1USD=$1.55CDN, by the time I was finished it was about $1.40.  Now, a few years later there’s no difference.  It’s weird to think what a few years difference really makes.  I presumably wouldn’t have gone to Canada, maybe I would have been a Beaver or a Dawg, maybe California.  Who knows, but it’s something to ponder.

Well that trip to the 2010 Olympics sure is looking more and more expensive each day.

At the time of this story it is actually $1USD=.9994CDN (So a Loonie is worth morth than a George Washington)

If the Republicans keep throwing away BILLIONS of dollars for a trumped up war; and borrow more BILLIONS to cover their defficets … the Mexican Peso will be worth a dollar soon.

SIMPLY WOW. That is all I can say.
