I agree that I wish more friends used Twitter as most of the people I follow on Twitter are more in the tech scene.
Lately I feel like I only really use facebook for status updates and new pictures, so it’s basically now the same tool as twitter for me 99% of the time, but for a more mainstream audience.
Yes, whenever you meet people who you have followed on twitter, it makes it much easier to jump into the conversation. I think 12-24 months ago this would have been strange to think about (news feed?) but now, it’s becoming normal.
Loved this video! I have the exact same experience with Twitter and my friends (though I wish more of my friends from back in the day were on it, too).
In fact, even though you and I haven’t met, I’m willing to bet that the first time we do it will be a pretty seamless transition into a real conversation beyond “Hi, my name’s Marina, what do you do?” chit-chat because of Twitter.
