Corvallis generally is, as a farming community and the students there are far less likely to start/join a protest on a daily basis, than those at UO, ha. So he probably is already counting on the OSU vote. Campaigning towards UO fans is hitting the people that he probably knows he doesn't have locked in -- the VERY left Eugene/Ducks. Once again, this is all generalized... there are, of course, outliers in every group. Very keen observation, though. I would ever have pegged it. Haha... hippie colors. What if he were to use the UO font and make the ads black and orange? I wonder if using the font means that he has to use green and yellow...does UO have rights to the font? The one aspect of the ad I like is the OR within the state's image.
