About Otis Kimzey

Thanks for wanting to know a little bit more about me. If I don’t answer all of your questions send me an email, I’ll list it below.

I was born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon. My 18 years and a few summers past that in Corvallis developed a few passions that are still two of my favorite things, Local Boyz food and Oregon State Football. I went to college (university) in Canada, and after graduating decided to move to the best city in the northwest, Seattle.

Since moving to Seattle I have had the opportunity to study sport management at the University of Washington, work in the sports industry, and then move into the startup community. For the past years I have had the great opportunity of working at multiple startup companies and seeing some from the early stages to post-acquisition.

I enjoy reading and studying marketing techniques and how new methods are being introduced to various businesses.  I also run a few low touch websites on the side that I use to work on new ideas I want to test.

I’m a big sports, tech, travel (small town and large cities), and Starbucks fan.
